Research interests

Only recently starting in October 2018, my main work focuses on the “Survival Processing” effect and the underlying mechanisms. Together with Meike Kroneisen, I investigate the mechanisms that lead to enhanced memory performances which can be found when participants process words and other stimuli based on their relevance in survival-related scenarios. I am fond of modern research methods and a genuine lab.js enthusiast. I am also interested in social decision making, pro-environmental behavior, cooperation and media communication methods to enhance aforementioned behavior. Besides, I’m programming web-based content for online teaching and research at the FernUniversität in Hagen.
